Oh my word! That was SO good! Exactly what I'm trying to focus on- FUNCTIONAL core (not six pack abs!). This was HARD. Those roll things got me real good! Thank you so much! 🙏🏻

The only thing I would like say is about the first excercise: I believe that with the deadbug you stretch the opposite arm and leg (instead of the arm and leg on the same side)
Loved this core workout session! The crab knee touches were really challenging. Paired it with the upper body strength session and it’s perfect combo. Thank you.
I’ve recently gotten into Calisthenics training, and have really uped my core work to support. Danke Julia, you hit the spots beautifully. Between this and banded warmup, I’m warm and loose (or is that wobbly). 👏
i've been working out for 3 weeks and until now i wanted those visible abs BUT in the last few days i realized that i have a week core and i can't even activate my deep core muscles. from today I'll be following your functional core workouts to strengthen my core! thank you so much julia!
I love this! Nothing wrong with aesthetics-based goals but these can be “just” a byproduct if you focus on performance & fueling your body. Makes it a lot easier to work with your body, be proud of yourself for what you can do & build actual confidence in your abilities. 👏🏼
Your videos have been an inspiration to my post-accident recovery for hip mobility and this challenged my core enough to see all my improvements (past all the sweat), BUT I kept up - so thank you!!! 🤟 it was too good I repeated it again strength-wise 🤭
Excellent variety of movements in this workout, and thanks for hitting the back, too! The only thing I did to balance the sides was repeat alligator roll going then other way. Thanks for the good sequence
So good! I think I’ll be sore tomorrow for this. Very good moves and I love different level options as some I’m still a one so I have something to work towards.

I struggled with the side plank exercises because my knees, ankles, and hips aren’t aligned straight (duck feet 😭) Is there anything I can do to fix this??
Maybe focus on alignment first before adding any other move in! 😊 Use a mirror if needed. Also, you can even modify a side plank if you use the upper leg for balance (cross over and put your foot on the floor).

I do pay a lot of attention to exercise selection when it comes to core workouts to avoid this. 😊 But this different style of training can be taxing on the wrists at first (groundwork in general but also depends on the individual). If you find that you struggle with wrist pain in general, try one of the 2 wrist mobility routines on the channel. I use them before all my groundwork-related workouts. 🤗
